A free E-waste Collection Day will take place at Fairfield High School on Saturday, May 18th from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. The Scarlet Brigade Band and Boosters have teamed up with GreenMouse Recycling for this event. We will accept TVs and monitors, computers and laptops, scanners and printers, all networking equipment, cell phones, fax machines, ethernet cables, telephone systems, VCR & DVD players, wire/cable, keyboards, toner and ink cartridges, stereo equipment, microwave ovens, small appliances and more.

No fluorescent lights or alkaline batteries.

Drop off is fully assisted. You don't need to get out of your car. Bring your unwanted, obsolete or non-working electronics from home or office and recycle them!

GreenMouse Recycling will be making a donation to the Scarlet Brigade Band Booster's Trip Fund. Please tell family, friends, neighbors and co-workers. The more items we collect the more $$ the trip fund gets.

This years' event - Fiesta Bowl Parade

The Scarlet Brigade Marching Band will be appearing in the Fort McDowell Fiesta Bowl Parade in Phoenix Arizona. "Of the many Fiesta Bowl events that take place in the Valley of the sun in the weeks preceding the Fiesta Bowl football game, the Fiesta Bowl Parade is one of the most popular" - About.com. Scarlet Brigade Band Boosters

Scarlet Brigade Band Booster meetings are held on the fourth Monday of most months.  The next meeting (skipping December) for the 2012-13 year will be held on Monday, October 22nd at 7PM in the Band Room E1.  Parents, please attend and get involved.  This is the place to get information on band activities and events and ask questions.  The students will be working very hard this year and will need parental support to be successful.  See you there!

To schedule bingo hours contact Rose Baker at 430-8098. This number is a dedicated cell phone line to be used strictly for scheduling and canceling bingo hours. Please do not use this number for other band business.  If you have scheduled a bingo shift and need to cancel please call and give advance notice. 48 hours notice is great, 24 hours is nice, same day cancellation is unacceptable.  For more information see the Bingo page. 17th Annual 'Fiesta' Crab Feed Fundraiser

Early Bird tickets are on sale now for the 17th Annual "Fiesta" Crab Feed fundraiser to be held on Friday, January 25, 2013 at the Joseph Nelson Community Center in Suisun City.  All you can eat crab, pasta, salad and bread.  Chicken is available for non-crab eaters upon advance request. There will be a silent auction, raffle and entertainment featuring the Fairfield High Jazz Combo and Scarlet Brigade Pipes and Drums.  Advance ticket sales only - No sales at the door.  Early Bird price is $35 per person until 11/5/12, $40 per person after 11/5. Proceeds from the silent auction and raffle go directly to the Scarlet Brigade Band Boosters General Trip Fund.  Order your crab feed tickets without delay to secure your reservation in this popular sell-out event.

24th Annual Tournament of Champions

Fairfield High School's acclaimed Scarlet Brigade Marching Band will be hosting the premier band festival in Northern California, the 24th Annual 'Tournament of Champions'.  Over 40 elite middle and high school band programs from Northern California will be performing at Fairfield High School.  The parade will begin at 9:00 am on Dover Avenue.  There will be concert and jazz performances beginning at 7:00 am. The event will end with a field show competition at 5:00 p.m. at Schaefer Stadium.  Times subject to change.

Field Show tickets $10, Students $8, Seniors $6, 5 yrs and under free. Performance schedules will be posted at a later date.

We are seeking sponsorship from corporations and individuals for competition trophies.  These trophies are awarded to outstanding performers at various levels. We will be hosting the Northern California Band Association Winter Percussion, Winter Guard, and Drum Major Competitions.  This year we have 31 schools attending with 52 competing units in percussion and guard.  The Drum Major competition has 76 entries.  Drum Major competition begins at 8:30am with awards at 2:45pm.  Percussion show begins at 11:00 am, Guard at 3:40pm.  Middle School Awards at 5:30pm and High School Awards at 9:30pm. All schedules are subject to change.
