Brian K. Swetland has been a music educator in the Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District for 16 years and is excited to work with the Scarlet Brigade. Mr. Swetland graduated with honors from Fresno Pacific College in 1992, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education with Composition Emphasis and Magna Cum Laude distinction.
He is happily married with three wonderful children. Mr. Swetland enjoys spending his free time playing soccer, is involved in the Music Ministry of his Church and recently took up surfing. In addition to his teaching duties, Mr. Swetland was Teacher of the Year at Tolenas in 2007 and is a member of the Northern California Band Association (NCBA) and California Band Directors Association (CBDA).
